Tanya was one of my preceptors during my final midwifery school. Meeting Tanya & Kristi and witnessing their beautiful partnership was just what I needed at that time in my life. I am so grateful to have met you, Tanya. Your legacy reached far and wide.

Such a passionate woman with the most engaging smile who warmed a room and the hearts of SO MANY PEOPLE. Honors to have served our community together. Always a highlight when I would spend time with her.

Tanya approached care for my family and I during pregnancy, delivery and postpartum with such incredible love and compassion. It was so incredibly clear that midwifery was her calling. I had a difficult delivery with my first child and some hard experiences with hospital staff during and in the days after our delivery. Once I was home I was hit by horrible anxiety, on top of some other complications. Tanya was a rock for us through all of it. Answering messages in the middle of the night, providing exemplary care for baby and me. As well as helping me advocate for myself with support outside her scope of care. As soon as I found out I was pregnant with my second baby I called Tanya, and her new(at the time) midwifery partner Kristi. I knew she would provide the same exemplary care, but she truly went above and beyond. When I went into labor on not only one of her nights off but also on a night when she was having a hard week at home with one of her beloved(and adorable) dogs. I expected only to have Kristi attend. I was surprised to find out Tanya had told Kristi that "please call me if Katrina goes into labor.". She attended my home birth with Kristi, and while Kristi took the lead she chatted, laughed and celebrated with us. She took photos and provided emotional support as she knew I was anxious after my first delivery. She went so far above and beyond. I cannot even begin to express how much that meant to us. Or how thankful our family is for the beautiful soul that Tanya was. For how much she cared for every single person who was under her care.
