Our Support

Thanks to you, UBC is able to provide support to thousands of students

The purpose of giving clubs is to offer us an opportunity to extend our appreciation of your thoughtfulness in making a provision, through your gift, for students, educators and researchers at the University.

With your support of scholarship and service, knowledge and discovery, and the physical underpinnings so vital to teaching and learning, you are helping us enrich the experiences of our students, and through them, our community and our world.

How we Give Back

Annual Donors

Our community of annual donors is fundamental to UBC. Every day your loyalty and generosity empower students, researchers and staff to change lives. Annual donors receive a bi-annual newsletter sharing the stories that your philanthropy makes possible; an invitation to the annual donor appreciation evening hosted by the President; and periodic communications to be kept up to date with interesting events on campus.

Major Gift Donors

Major gift donors receive a bi-annual newsletter sharing the stories that your philanthropy makes possible; invitations to exclusive engagement events on campus hosted by the President and other senior members of the University community; and periodic communications to be kept up to date with interesting events on campus.

Planned Giving Donors

The tradition of legacy giving at UBC is a long and inspiring one; in fact, the first gift to UBC was a bequest from Dr. Alexander Monro in 1932. Ever since, legacy gifts and bequests have significantly enriched and strengthened our ability to provide students and faculty with the best possible resources and conditions for learning and research. Planned giving donors receive a bi-annual newsletter sharing the stories that your philanthropy makes possible; an annual publication specific to Planned Giving Donors; invitations to exclusive engagement events on campus hosted by senior members of the University community; and periodic communications to be kept up to date with interesting events on campus.
