Al was the epitome of an outstanding Thunderbird Football player on and off the field. Al was not only a great player, he was also a great teammate, friend and generous donor to our program. He was a Hardy Cup Champion (’76) and honoured as a Canada West All-Star (’75,’76) while competing with the T-Birds on the offensive line.

To honour Al’s life and accomplishments, his teammates, friends and family will be establishing the Al Cameron Memorial Fund. Your gift will pay tribute to Al’s life by supporting students following in his footsteps at UBC. Final decisions on the award description and student eligibility will be made in consultation with the family.
