About Graham Neale
A graduate of the UBC Faculty of Applied Science, Graham Neale passed away on June 26, 2017 after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.
Graham was born on September 23, 1946, grew up in Vancouver and graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1974. He became a member of the Association of Professional Engineers in 1983, before establishing his own engineering firm in the early 1980s. Neale Engineering Ltd was involved in many projects in the Lower Mainland, and Graham was always supportive of new engineers entering the field.
Graham was predeceased by baby daughter Diana. He is survived by wife Patricia; daughters Jennifer, Robin, Nicole (Mike) and Colleen. He had a special place in his heart for grandchildren Marcus, Emma, Leila and Ethan. He will also be dearly missed by brothers George and Fraser; many nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law Erna and Helen (Ken).
The impact of your support
In Graham’s memory, the Graham Neale Memorial Fund has been established by his family at UBC, to support a new student award for an undergraduate studying engineering within the Faculty of Applied Science.
Graham was always supportive of men and women entering the profession of engineering. Your gift will pay tribute to Graham’s life and career by supporting the engineers of the future.
