About Kyle Sherbaty
Last fall, we lost a remarkable man, Kyle Sherbaty, to the silent battle of mental health. Kyle was more than his struggles with depression and anxiety; he was a loving father to three sons and a daughter, an inspiring hockey coach and a beloved member of his community.
Kyle spent countless hours coaching kids alongside his dad, Craig, instilling not only skills but also values of teamwork, perseverance and sportsmanship. He was dedicated to his family and friends, always putting their needs above his own. Despite his own internal battles, he wore a smile and offered support to those around him.
Kyle was also known for his incredible work ethic. Starting as a worker at Matcon, he climbed the ranks to become a foreman. He was the kind of person who would leave early to help his coworkers, offering them a ride to work. His dedication and willingness to help others were evident in every aspect of his life.
His struggle with mental health was not uncommon, yet it often goes unspoken. Men like Kyle face immense pressure to appear strong, leaving their cries for help unheard. Kyle’s memory fuels our mission to change this. We are determined to create a community where mental health is openly discussed and supported.
