It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the recent passing of honoured UBC alumnus and esteemed friend, Philip B. Lind, CM (BA ’66, LLD ’02). He will be well-remembered as a brilliant business leader and a passionate supporter of arts, media and education devoted to advancing our nation’s rich and varied culture. Phil provided invaluable strategic advice as co-chair of UBC’s successful start an evolution campaign, which concluded in 2015 and FORWARD, the campaign for UBC, launched in 2022. From the thought-provoking Phil Lind Initiative and the family legacy he established through the Phil Lind Klondike Gold Rush Collection, his insight, generosity and dedication to his alma mater will continue to be an inspiration to all.
