To improve intercultural understanding and awareness among its diverse student body and the global community it serves, UBC is taking a leadership role in teaching and building research excellence in Persian language and Iranian studies.
Donor funding is critical for many students to obtain a post-secondary education. The Faculty of Arts Bursary Fund provides students with the much-needed finances and enables them to focus on their studies. Bursaries totalling $23,500 have been endowed by alumni and friends of the Faculty of Arts for undergraduate students.
