Giving to UBC
over the holidays

Thank you for your donation to UBC!

To ensure your donation qualifies for a 2024 tax receipt, please make your gift in one of the following ways:

  • 1.

    Online Giving

    Online gifts must be completed by December 31, 2024 to qualify for a 2024 tax receipt.

    Gifts by credit card can be made online at www.give.ubc.ca/donate. A tax receipt is automatically generated;

    — or —

    if you have been working directly with a UBC Development colleague on a gift and have been supplied with a unique personal code, please make your donation online either by credit card at www.give.ubc.ca/commitment  or by Interac e-Transfer at give.now@ubc.ca, and your tax receipt or acknowledgement will be sent to you in January.

    Gifts by credit card on behalf of a corporation or foundation can be made online at https://give.ubc.ca/corporate. A business acknowledgment is automatically generated.

    Gifts by cheque

    Please note the current Canada Post strike will affect delivery times; if you cannot donate online, please consider using a courier or hand delivery prior to the holiday office closure date of Dec 24, 2024.

    Gifts by Securities

    UBC welcomes gifts of securities. Please contact the DAE Securities email account dae.securities@ubc.ca to facilitate this type of gift.  The deadline for gifts of securities to be received in the UBC brokerage account in order to guarantee a 2024 tax receipt is Friday, December 6, 2024.
