Help students recover and revitalize Indigenous language through the Bachelor of Nsyilxcn Fluency Program, the first of its kind in Canada. This degree is an innovative collaboration between communities, Nicola Valley Institute of Technology (NVIT), En’owkin Centre, and UBC Okanagan to sustain, revitalize and restore the language traditions of Indigenous communities.
A recent survey of over 33,000 students at 34 Canadian universities revealed deeply concerning statistics regarding the mental health of young adults. Of those surveyed, 89% of students said they were overwhelmed by everything they had to do and 56% reported that they felt overpowering anxiety.
