About Dylan Forsythe
Born in Langley in 1997, Dylan grew up to be a fiercely loyal young man with a big heart and a knack for making people laugh. The youngest of three siblings, he spent a lot of time with his family and loved being outdoors to fish, camp and snowboard.
At age six Dylan started playing hockey, which turned into a life-long passion and many weekends spent at the rink being cheered on by family and friends. Dylan was incredibly loyal, and cherished the many friendships he had throughout his short life.
With support from his uncles, Dylan proudly joined Local 170—a trades union—and had a bright future in steamfitting. He worked at many different job sites and was eager to learn along the way.
As a young adult, Dylan suffered from anxiety and depression. He confided in his family who were great supporters and he felt lighter knowing he wasn’t alone in his fight. Unfortunately, a few months after telling his family about his struggles, he passed away.
Dylan was—and will always be—a bright light in many peoples’ lives. He will be remembered as a passionate person who loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
