As a member of White Rock Concerts Board, I quickly came to know George and learn the wisdom in the way he had set-up and sustained this remarkable non-profit concert society since 1956. It is an honour to continue the legacy of his inspirational pioneering work.

George was as good a listener as he was a raconteur and times spent with him on walks in the parks of south Surrey were filled with good conversation. He was very passionate about realizing his vision to make live classical music available in remote areas of Canada, especially the North and establishing networks of subscription-based concert series showcasing both local and international talent
