I miss Tracy so much. She was my leader, my mentor, and my doctoral pal. A precious treasure has left us and the emptiness is vast, but I can hear her voice and her laughter and she would want us all to get on with it. I will always have you in my heart, dear friend.
Tracy and I attended the UBC School of Nursing around the same time for both our undergrad and graduate degrees. Although we were never in the same class I enjoyed the opportunities when our careers brought us together. I especially enjoyed singing with Tracy in the Song-cology Choir - she a Soprano and me an Alto, harmonizing together. So proud of Tracy and all her contributions to Nursing. She will always be remembered as a nurse way ahead of her time. Much love A Beth
Way back when Tracy was an undergraduate she did a clinical rotation in gynaecology at Shaughnessy Hospital She had a way ahead of the times brightly dyed hair. My memory includes defending her look to the head nurse - the epitome of the old style leader. Nothing in the dress code imagined such a look!
