The UBC Development and Alumni Engagement team was deeply saddened to learn of the recent passing of Chancellor Emeritus Lindsay Gordon BA’73, MBA’76, LLD’23. A dear friend of UBC, Lindsay was a man of immense generosity and compassion who provided invaluable strategic advice as co-chair of UBC’s successful start an evolution campaign, which concluded in 2015 and FORWARD, the campaign for UBC, which launched in 2022. His generosity and involvement are felt throughout the entire UBC community and he leaves an extraordinary legacy. His acts of philanthropy, and in particular his dedication to helping students, will continue to have a transformative impact on our communities for generations to come.
