The Centennial Scholars Award program assists academically qualified undergraduate students who show an interest in joining and contributing to the UBC community, but who would not be able to attend without significant financial assistance. The First Nations House of Learning (FNHL) strives to make the university a more accessible and inclusive environment for Indigenous students, by collaborating with other units on campus to provide programming, resources, and events.
Support learning and dialogue about Canada’s history of residential schools and access to important related records at The Indian Residential School and Dialogue Centre (IRSHDC). The IRSHDC is a culturally-informed, Survivor-centred space working in service of Indigenous communities.
Indigenous students at the UBCO campus are supported through Indigenous Programs and Services or the First Steps bursary.
