UBC Student Relief Fund
for World Events

Help provide emergency support to students affected by world events

In a time of great uncertainty, you can show UBC students that they are not alone. Your gift to the UBC Student Relief Fund for World Events will provide students with quick access to emergency funds for various expenses such as housing, food and travel needs.

In response to the growing need to provide assistance to students facing unprecedented challenges that are beyond their control, UBC has created the “UBC Student Relief Fund for World Events”. This fund will allow quick access to emergency funds for students on both campuses and at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

As global citizens, world events can have a significant impact on UBC students. Whether it is due to political conflict or from natural disasters, UBC is dedicated to supporting our students who have had their education disrupted. In fact, the university has already committed up to $850,000 in emergency financial aid for students affected by any disruptive world event.

If you are a UBC student that needs support in Vancouver, please contact an Enrolment Services Advisor, or in the Okanagan please contact the Student Records & Financial Services office.
