The UBC Farm Building Project

At the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems at UBC Farm, that work is already underway.

Thanks to donor support, Phase One of the new Farm Centre—critical infrastructure and site upgrades—is in progress. Now, we must act quickly to complete Phase Two and bring the vision fully to life.

The Missing Piece

Phase Two adds a commercial teaching kitchen and operational hub—transforming the Farm into a true “farm-to-fork” learning environment where food is grown, processed, prepared, and shared.

This will enable:

• Hands-on learning from field to kitchen
• Advancing food literacy and education through experiential programming
• Strengthening sustainable food production and reducing waste
• Community programs rooted in diverse food traditions
• Real-world innovation in sustainable food systems

Without this phase, the Farm Centre cannot reach its full potential.
