Challenges facing society such as poverty, climate change, food security, Indigenous rights and access to clean water are complex, requiring innovative solutions and multiple perspectives. The Centre for Community Engaged Learning focuses on creating opportunities for collective action and societal change while enhancing disciplinary learning by matching students to projects in the community where they can apply their academic knowledge.
Your gift will help students acquire diverse, interdisciplinary and hands-on experiences that enable them to engage respectfully with communities and meaningfully consider community knowledge in their personal and professional lives, and will support the Centre in its mission to provide experiential learning opportunities to students through community engagement.
