Accelerate COVID-19
research at UBC

Help provide life-saving, society-wide support during these uncertain times

In the face of a global crisis, UBC finds itself in a position of great strength to address issues arising from the pandemic through groundbreaking research.

UBC researchers are prepared to find solutions to the multifaceted issues caused by COVID-19—just like they did in 2003, when UBC led on the development of a vaccine for SARS. Many UBC researchers—from medical geographers to epidemiologists to economists and microbiologists—have already launched studies focused on accelerating the development, testing and implementation of measures to deal with the COVID-19 outbreak.
