What would it mean to you if an innovative treatment could activate the body’s own immune response to cure the disease that has changed your life?
UBC’s world-leading experts are at the forefront of developing cell therapies: “living drugs” that hold tremendous potential to transform the future of medicine.
UBC aims to establish the B.C. Advanced Therapeutics Manufacturing Facility to take our scientific discoveries another step ahead to initial proof-of-concept in humans. This would be a leap forward for B.C. patients, who would gain early access to innovative experimental therapies through small-scale clinical trials conducted locally.
Your donation to the B.C. Advanced Therapeutics Manufacturing Facility will support its construction and the highly skilled personnel and specialized equipment required to operate in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices for consistent production at the highest level of quality required for use in humans.
With your support, this state-of-the-art facility will serve as a collaborative technology development hub, ultimately propelling Canada to the forefront of cell therapy innovation and clinical research—and saving lives in British Columbia and around the world.
We invite you to join us in transforming health for everyone.
