Dean's Student Emergency Fund

UBC Applied Science students are facing challenges they could never have anticipated: the loss of income from part-time jobs, sudden changes to living arrangements, unforeseen travel expenses, and the negative effects of continued social isolation.

Your donation will help to ensure that students do not have to face these challenges alone.

Contributions to the fund will provide immediate assistance to students in urgent financial need, bridging the gap to cover expenses such as housing, groceries and the unexpected cost of returning home.

The Faculty of Applied Science Dean’s Student Emergency Fund is available to students at both the Vancouver and Okanagan campuses, who require immediate support due to unforeseen financial challenges. These discretionary, emergency funds are available to both domestic and international students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
