The Faculty of Education at UBC has served the international education community through leadership in research, service and advocacy for more than 60 years.

As one of the leading education faculties in the world, the Faculty of Education prepares professionals for practice in a wide range of education-related fields and provides excellence in teaching and research and allows students to have the best possible learning environment. The Dean of Education Endowment Fund provides funding for top priority initiatives with the Faculty of Education. 

Alumni and supporters of the Dean of Education Scholarship endowment fund have provided more than 225 academic achievement awards totalling over $376,428 to students in the Teacher Education Program and Graduate Programs since its establishment. The Dean of Education Scholarship promotes the emerging talent of exceptional students in the Faculty of Education.
