UBC Okanagan
Special Collections and Archives

UBCO Library

Help to preserve and share the history of life in the Okanagan.

UBC Okanagan Special Collections and Archives acquires and provides access to a range of materials that document the unique history of the region.

Archival records can often reside in unexpected places, and their historical value is frequently underappreciated or overlooked. However, archival records can provide deep insight into our shared histories.

UBC Okanagan Special Collections and Archives is a growing repository for historical materials related to the Okanagan. This includes the collection of documents, photographs, and audiovisual media detailing and depicting activities which have characterized the valley for generations, such as fruit growing and packing, winemaking, and the lumber industry.

Your donation will help to capture the history of the Okanagan region so that students, researchers, and the public can learn from these valuable primary source materials.
